How does it work?
The magic starts with the interviews. We sit with you or your loved one — in person or virtually — and expertly guide the conversation across a whole life: early childhood, parents and grandparents, teenage years, career, relationships, parenting and the lessons learned along the way. Then we do everything else: transcribing, structuring the narrative, weaving in treasured photos, and writing the story in your authentic voice, printed into beautiful books.
How is Opus Eternal different from Storyworth, Remento or Memowrite?
Those services send prompts and make you or your loved one do all the work — writing their own story, week after week, for a year (most people never finish). We do the opposite. We interview you over a few days or weeks, and that's it. We handle all the writing, design and printing for you.
How much does it cost?
Each project is quoted individually and includes professional writing, book design and printed physical books — typically 40%+ lower cost than comparable services. The cost can be comfortably shared between siblings, children or grandchildren. After all, you only create a priceless heirloom once.
What is the process?
It's simple: you talk, we handle the rest. First we interview (in person, by phone or online). Then we craft — transcribing, structuring, weaving in photos and writing in your voice. Finally we deliver — reviewing the draft together and, once you approve, producing a digital copy and beautifully printed physical books.
What makes the final book special?
Every book is professionally designed and formatted. We can add creative touches like footnotes, fun facts and QR codes that link to relevant audio or video, and we enhance old or blurry photos so the visuals look their best.
Can you do books about people who have passed away?
Yes. We interview the living relatives and friends who can recount their story — children, siblings, cousins, lifelong friends — and weave those accounts, along with letters, documents and photographs, into one coherent narrative. We schedule the interviews whenever suits each person, come to them in person or meet virtually, and handle all of the work. You just need to talk. Then we work with you personally through review and revisions until you are 100% happy with it.
How does the 100% satisfaction guarantee work?
Simply: the book is finished when you say it is. You read the full draft and we refine it together over as many rounds as you like, and your final balance is only due once you are completely delighted with the result. Every gift memoir we make is covered by it.
