Locations & languages
We come to you — anywhere in the world.
Every interview can be done virtually, from any country and any time zone. And in Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, one of our interviewers will sit down with your loved one in person.
We work in English and Hebrew.
However suits you
No matter where in the world your family is
Distance has never stopped a story getting told. We interview families on every continent — in their living room, or on a screen, whichever is easier for them.
In person
One of our interviewers comes to your loved one and sits down with them, face to face, in their own home. Nothing draws out a story quite like being in the room together.
Virtual call
Zoom, Google Meet, or simply a phone call — whichever your loved one already knows. We set it up for them and stay patient with the technology, so nobody feels rushed.
Any country, any time zone
We schedule sessions around your loved one's best hours of the day — not ours — wherever in the world they happen to be.
In person
Where we sit down with you face to face
There is something an in-person interview gives you that a screen cannot. In these places, one of our interviewers will come to the kitchen table.

Don't see your city? We'll get there
Our map grows because families ask. If your city isn't above, that is not a no.
- We find and brief a trusted local interviewer near you
- Or we fly out to spend the interview days with your loved one
- Or we begin virtually now and add in-person sessions later
Either way, it starts with one free, no-obligation conversation about who the book is for and where they are.
We'll travel to them
For families outside our current locations, we arrange interview days on site — so your loved one is interviewed in their own home, surrounded by their own things.
Always in their comfort zone
In person or on a screen, the interview happens where your loved one feels most themselves. That's where the real stories come out.
Languages
In the language the story was lived in
A life story should be told in the language your loved one dreams in — and then written and edited to a standard that does it justice.
- English — interviews, writing and the finished book
- Hebrew — native-level interviewers, book written in Hebrew
- Beautifully written prose, not a tidied-up transcript
- Professionally edited and proofread before it ever goes to print
Whichever language your story is told in, it is crafted by our team working in their own native tongue, then carefully edited — so the finished book reads as well as anything on your shelf.
Need another language? Tell us which one. We regularly find and brief interviewers for new languages, and we'll say honestly whether we can do it well.
English
Interviews, writing and the finished book, all in fluent, natural English.
Hebrew
עברית — native-level interviewers, and a finished book written in Hebrew.
Questions
Working with us from anywhere
Can you write the book if we live outside Israel, the US, the UK or Australia?
Yes. Every part of the process works virtually — interviews over Zoom, Google Meet or the phone, drafts reviewed by email, and the printed books shipped to you. Families on every continent have worked with us this way.
Which cities do you cover for in-person interviews?
Anywhere in Israel — including Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Netanya, Ra'anana, Beit Shemesh and beyond. In the United States we cover the New York tri-state area and North Carolina; in the United Kingdom, London and the surrounding counties; in Australia, Sydney and Melbourne. If your city isn't listed, ask us — we can usually arrange it.
What languages do you work in?
English and Hebrew, at a native level, for both the interviews and the finished book. Every manuscript is crafted by native speakers of that language and then professionally edited and proofread. If you need another language, tell us which one and we'll let you know honestly whether we can do it justice.
Can the interviews be in one language and the book in another?
Yes, and it's a common request — a parent most comfortable in Hebrew tells their story in Hebrew, and we produce the book in English for grandchildren who read English. We can also produce both editions.
Do the time zones make scheduling difficult?
No. We schedule around the storyteller's best hours, not ours — mornings if that's when they're sharpest, evenings if that suits the family better. We work across every time zone as a matter of routine.
